Hairpins

Previous month, I was requested by my friends to make a hairpin as a gift to her pony tail friend.

She requested a black hairpin with a pink band in the middle. So, I chose knitting method to make it, using black and pink pale softy cotton yarns.

This was the first time I used knitting method to my friend's request and the result wasn't good enough T___T.
But thanks God, my friend still accepted my obstacle.

The other request was from my colleague.
She wanted to make some tiny hairpins to her daughters, two circle and butterfly tie shapes.
The colors of circle shape hairpins are light red and pink while butterfly tie shape hairpins are pink and orange.
Then I sewed a pink rubber to them.
And finished !!!

I do love this hairpin !!! And also love to make it !!!
Soo cute !!! ^__^v

Purple-Pink Flower Bag

One day, my friend asked me to make a small bag that she can bring her stuffs (wallet, handphone, and other things) and hang it in her shoulder when she walked somewhere at lunch break.
She wants pink and purple color for her bag too. The design of bag is free.

So I made her bag like this:
pink softy cotton yarn in the beginning - as bottom of the bag - then I changed yarn with purple color for the next 4 rows; changed it again with pinky color for the next 4 rows and so on. For finishing - as handler, I decided to use purple color to match it with the previous color.

To make it girly, I attached some flower beads (small pinky flower and bigger blue flower) in the corner of the bag.
DONE !! Completed it only one and a half day without any necessary obstacles.

Hope my friend love this handmade crochet bag and make her more stylish when she walks to someplace she wants to without any difficulties to hold so many things in her hands.

Sleeping Baby Bee

Another pending ami I've been finished after a year ago !!!
This ami was taking from my nephew's pillow character called Baby Bee if I'm not mistake.
A cute sleeping bee I thought and I love this creature very much so I tried to make it with my own pattern in my mind.

I didn't understand why I (look like) abandoned all crochet stuffs I've been made, ahahahaha - well, not my purpose to do that actually.

At the same previous long weekend holiday, when I cleaned up my room, I found this abandoned baby bee in the corner of my yarn box. It was trying to attract me to be completed (its condition was without a pair of wings and its sting).
I got it from the box then I placed it in my table so that I remembered and concious to finish it.
Not took much time to make it perfect - I just crochet a pair of tiny wings using broken white softy cotton and brown wool for the sting.
Sewed those things to its body.

Mission is complete !!!
My cute little sleeping baby bee, you are really-really charming dear.

Size = 5 X 6 cms.

Dotted Snoopy

Made it as a sequel of previous Snoopy ^.^v

After a long time not to continue it, finally I finished it during my long weekend holiday.

Why I call this ami a dotted snoopy because this Snoopy has so much colorful dots in its whole body. Unique huh ???

Using not a quarter ball of Sirdar Snuggly, black softy cotton yarn, and 3/4 size hook needle; the size of this dotted Snoopy is bigger than the original one (height 10 cms). For its necklace I used peach softy cotton yarn and sew a star bead on it.

And voila... it's a cute Snoopy, right ??? ^.^d

Beatsie Daemon

Had an order from my friend to make a keychain that represents a symbol or mascot of FreeBSD - it's an open source Unix based operating system (you can google it to make sure and correct me if I mistake) - called Beatsie.
It wasn't too difficult to make it.
Just provide some meters of light red yarn, a bundle of dacron and a keychain.
Crochet it cirlce using sc stiches and taraaaaaa.... finish!!
Only took 15 minutes to make it completely. So simple, right ??? v^.^v

Hope you like it friend and make you enthusiastic in learning this OS - don't forget to teach us sir ^.^d
